Need Solar is a solar construction company delivering the full physical build of photovoltaic plants — ground-mount, rooftop, and carport — from site mobilisation to energisation. Our crews handle civil works, mounting structures, module installation, DC and AC cabling, inverter and transformer stations, medium-voltage works, commissioning, and grid connection.
We work as the main construction contractor under EPC or BoP contracts, and as an installation partner for developers who keep engineering and procurement in-house.
Civil Works & Site Preparation
Access roads, fencing, drainage, levelling, cable trenching, foundation works and pile driving or ballasted foundations depending on geotechnical conditions. Every site starts with a geotechnical review and pull-out tests so the structure is dimensioned for the real ground, not an assumption.
Mechanical Installation
Fixed-tilt and tracker mounting systems, rooftop ballasted and penetrating systems, and carport steel structures. Torque control, module handling protocols and row-by-row quality control keep mechanical defects out of the plant before the electrical scope starts.
Electrical Works & Grid Connection
String cabling, combiner boxes, inverter installation, AC distribution, transformer and switchgear stations, earthing, SCADA and metering. We manage the utility interface, protection settings, witness testing and the documentation needed to energise the plant on schedule.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
IV-curve testing, insulation and continuity testing, thermographic scanning, functional tests of protection and SCADA, performance ratio verification, and a complete as-built and warranty documentation package for the owner and the lender's technical advisor.
